Another Illegal Obama Gets Busted

Well, it appears that the whereabouts of Barack Obama’s long lost uncle Omar has finally been solved. He’s been arrested! This arrest must give the Obama family an even stronger sense of deja vu, given the fact that Obama’s “Auntie Zeituni” Onyango was arrested and ordered to be deported in 2004. She too, is now coming up for another hearing on that yet to be implemented 2004 deportation.

I could be wrong, but the last time I heard of this many sitting President’s family members being arrested, was during the term of President Jimmy Carter. Of course, we all know, that at that time, the bane of the Carter family was brother Billy – most famous for his Billy Beer.  But at least none of the Carter family had any issues with being in this country illegally. It would appear it sort of runs in the Obama family, doesn’t it?

The arrest of uncle Omar finally brings to a close the mystery of the fate of a relative that Barack Obama wrote about in his 1995 memoir. You remember, uncle Omar was the guy who had moved to America from Kenya in the 1960s, and then just vanished? I’m guessing, Barack Obama is now wishing he had never asked the question of uncle Omar’s whereabouts.

Police records say that Onyango Obama – now 67 – was picked up outside the (please let me say this with a straight face)… was picked up outside the Chicken Bone Saloon in Framingham Massachusetts on August 24, at 7:10 PM. The Framingham Police report that the reason they took notice of Uncle Omar, was because uncle Omar almost slammed his Mitsubishi 4 X4 pickup into a police car. And then (and here’s another family similarity) had the audacity to tell the police officer he should have given him the right-of-way.  Not taking responsibility, seems to be another family trait. Looking on the bright side, at least he didn’t blame it on Bush.

Uncle Omar was then promptly charged with DWI, as well as driving to endanger, and failing to use his turn signal. Onyango Obama was detained as an illegal immigrant as well, because there was an already pre-existing outstanding warrant for him issued by the US Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, because he’d already previously failed to appear to be deported to Kenya.

Now, how do we know that this is the same Uncle Omar in Barack Obama’s book Dreams From My Father?  It’s been established from his birth date that Onyango is indeed the same guy in Barack Obama’s 1995 book described as ” the uncle who had left for America 25 years ago and had never come back”.

There had been a search launched in 2008 for uncle Omar. But instead of finding him, they discovered his sister President Obama’s “Auntie Zeituni”, who was living as an illegal immigrant on a Boston housing estate. Uncle Omar and Auntie Zeituni are the children of Pres. Obama’s grandfather Hussein Onyango Obama, by his third wife Sarah, the woman president Obama calls “Granny”, because she raised his father Barack Senior, who was Hussein Obama’s son by Hussein’s second wife Akumu. The 2008 search turned up public records that “O. Onyango Obama” was born on June 3, 1944, living at the house in the Boston suburbs, where he was known as Obama Onyango. Framingham Police records list the man arrested last week as Onyango Obama with the same birthday June 3, 1944.

According to police reports officer Val Krishtal accompanied by his partner, had to slam on his brakes to avoid hitting uncle Omar’s 4X4, which drove right through a stop sign without stopping, and then took a quick left turn. Uncle Omar got very indignant, and told the two officers that he had the right-of-way, and that he seriously doubted they had to hit their brakes, because uncle Omar didn’t hear any tires squealing.  Is it just me, or is this attitude sounding really really familiar?  I wonder if all this could be considered by President Obama as “…..a problem I inherited.”?

At his hearing, uncle Omar pleaded not guilty.  But he continued to be held in custody, because of the pre-existing immigration warrant. Now, poor Uncle Omar has got a real legal battle on his hands. But not to worry, I’m sure someone will come to his rescue, just like they did with Zeituni.   His sister Zeituni eventually beat the system, and won the right to stay in the US in spite of her earlier deportation order, and I suspect the same outcome will follow Uncle Omar.   Interestingly enough, the very same Cleveland lawyer who successfully represented uncle Omar’s sister Zeituni, has once again been retained to represent uncle Omar.

Gosh, this story is just full of coincidences, isn’t it
