What In The World Mitt Romney?

As if it really isn’t bad enough that Mitt Romney is continuing to receive accolades from Pres. Obama as being the Obama care, now Romney is getting praise from Al Gore as well. What’s up with this? The only thing Romney needs to really round out a solid Republican pariahship, is to start getting compliments from Michael Moore!

At a recent New Hampshire town hall meeting earlier this month, Romney actually broke ranks with the vast majority of other Republicans, by saying “I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that.  It’s important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may be significant contributors.” On Al Gore’s blog he writes  “Good for Mitt Romney!  While other Republicans are running from the truth, he is sticking to his guns in the face of the anti-science wing of the Republican Party!” And, what praise from a sworn enemy wouldn’t be complete, without the accolades of Bill Clinton himself?  Clinton said quote “I’m not surprised that the tea party favorite has quickly become a 2012 front runner.” Said Gore on yesterday’s “Good Morning America”.  But the thing that really tweaked my suspicion about what was really going on, was when Clinton went on to complement Michele Bachmann on the very same show.

Clinton said of Bachmann, “I’ve been watching her speak at some of these conventions on ESPN you know, she comes across as a real person. The story that they tell is pretty compelling, all those foster children she’s taken in and children she’s raised in the work she’s done.”

I could draw all kinds of comparisons from the story of the frog and the scorpion, or about how a leopard can’t change its spots, but I’ll suffice to say that anyone who is sucked in by all of this adulation from the enemy – those people that are trying desperately to destroy this country – isn’t seeing the real picture.

The Democrat party is painfully aware that – at least for now – Mitt Romney is the one Republican who can  beat Barack Obama in 2012. Multiple polling data reveals that Romney is – at least today, the most powerful Republican candidate, and if the election were held right now Romney either ties or beats Obama.  This is enough to have Democrats shaking in their boots!

So the Democrats, are doing what they do best – using trickery. They’ve set out upon an insidious strategy to weaken Mitt Romney, as well as Michele Bachmann, by praising and complementing them. These people know full well that the Tea Party element inside the ranks of Republicans wants to cull out the RINO’s from the party every bit as much as they want to defeat Obama in 2012.  So the Democrats are placing their bets that if they praise Romney they could possibly redirect the true conservatives and Tea Party members’ hostility away from Obama and towards Romney. And I think that they have just thrown in Michele Bachmann to hedge their bets. And this little mind game goes all the way to the top: Barack Obama himself continues to heap praise upon Romneycare as his inspiration for Obamacare.

I’ve got a real problem picking anyone for a leadership position who absolutely will not admit to a glaring mistake they’ve made.  But that having been said, neither will I fall for this reverse logic  routine the Democrats are trying as a defense.
Keep your eyes open, because all of this should be coming into crystal clear focus. Anybody with any common sense at all will realize that Obama cannot run on his record. He will be forced to do what the Democrats are the premier experts at – discrediting, and demoralizing! Mark my word, we’re going to see a Democratic campaign that will focus not on themselves or what they have done, but how very terrible and reprehensible and scary the opposition is.

So once again, with the Democrat party, it will be business as usual:  The FUD factor……Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt.
